Tennis Videos Analysis

Beginners, intermediate and advanced players can all benefit from this type of tennis videos analysis.

Technology enables me to see things I would never be able to see while feeding balls in real time. Videos is a big part of training your mind to see and correct actions you were not aware of previously.

Sources of information are becoming increasingly sophisticated and Dartfish has developed a video-sharing program that enhances the way we can communicate.

People learn using these processes:

  1. Seeing (Visual)
  2. Feeling (Kinestetic)
  3. Hearing (Auditory)
  4. Understanding (Digital/Logical)
  5. Most of us rely on visual/kinestetic and "visual" is by far the most effective learning process.

What does this mean and why would you care? Here the two main reasons:

    1. The majority of tennis players (children and adults) are visual learners
    2. You don't know what you are missing if you don't take advantage of all that technology has to offer to the visual learner.

Today's combination of a high speed digital camera, video analysis software and my trained coach's eye, can eliminate the guesswork of coaching and convey valuable instruction to you.

I don't have to just tell you any more, I can now show you what your are or are not doing properly.

The video also documents my student's progress.

For the new student, video analysis can be especially effective. The camera proactively helps me identify the root cause of stroke problems. Dartfish is a tool with which I can provide my student individual study and practice.
